It is no secret that bullying occurs most frequently at school both during lessons and breaks. It does not bypass physical education classes too. Most often, it is children who bully each other, but… there are other cases too. Sometimes teachers themselves (of different subjects, not necessarily physical education) can insult the pupil without even thinking about it, and this can be a good excuse to start bullying for pupils who have noticed this. I turn to teachers, let us think about it and remember whether we have not said to the pupil in the presence of others: “Elena, haven’t you put on weight over the summer?”, “Jonas, you still can’t do a single pull-up?”, “Karolis, you can’t catch the ball again”, and the like. Often, words may seem meaningless and irrelevant to us, adults, but they may be received by pupils in a completely different way… Let us be careful and try to avoid any ambiguous statements addressed to the pupil…
